Terms of Use & Disclaimer
The terms that apply to your use of this website, and important limits on the information published here.
Last updated: 05/08/2026 · Pacific Coast Tree Services · ABN 96 635 213 526
Agreement to these terms
This website is operated by Pacific Coast Tree Services (we, us, our), ABN 96 635 213 526. By accessing or using this website you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
These terms apply to your use of the website only. Work we carry out for you is governed by our quote, our terms of trade and any written agreement between us. If there is any inconsistency, those documents prevail over these terms in relation to the work.
Information on this website is general only
The information on this website is general information about tree species, tree condition, tree work and property preparation. It is not advice about any particular tree, property or situation, and you should not rely on it as such.
Every tree is different. Its condition, structure, root system, species behaviour, surroundings, soil, exposure and history all affect what work is appropriate and whether it presents a risk. Those things can only be assessed by a qualified person inspecting the tree on site.
Do not use information on this website to decide:
- whether a tree is safe or unsafe
- whether a tree, limb or root system is likely to fail
- whether a tree needs to be removed, pruned or retained
- whether you can carry out work on a tree yourself
- whether a tree can be worked on without a council permit or consent
If you are concerned about a tree, arrange an inspection. If you believe a tree or limb presents an immediate danger to people or property, keep clear of it and contact us, your local council, or emergency services on 000 if there is a risk to life.
Do not attempt tree work yourself
Tree work is high-risk work. It causes serious injuries and deaths in Australia every year, including to experienced operators. Risks include falls from height, chainsaw injuries, crush injuries from falling limbs, and electrocution from contact with overhead powerlines.
Nothing on this website is an instruction, encouragement or guide to carrying out tree work yourself. Descriptions of the work we do are provided so you understand our services, not so you can replicate them. Do not approach, climb, cut or attempt to remove any tree or limb, and never work near powerlines. Contact your electricity distributor about vegetation near powerlines.
Quotes, prices and availability
Any prices, price ranges, indicative costs, timeframes or availability shown on this website are indicative only, may be out of date, and are not offers capable of acceptance.
A quote is only binding on us if we provide it to you in writing, following a site inspection, and it is within its stated validity period. Quotes are based on the site conditions observed at the time of inspection and on the scope described. If conditions differ from those observed or described — including hidden defects, concealed structures or services, access limitations, or unforeseen tree condition — additional charges may apply, and we will discuss this with you before proceeding wherever practicable.
Response times mentioned for storm or emergency work are indicative and depend on demand, weather, safety conditions and access. During and after severe weather events, demand is high and response times will be longer.
Accepting a quote and scheduling
Where we give you a link to accept a quotation online, accepting it through our website confirms that you accept the quotation and intend to proceed with the work described in it, on the terms of that quotation and our terms of trade.
By accepting online you confirm that you are the owner of the property, or that you are authorised by the owner to approve the work.
The timeframe you nominate is a request, not a confirmed booking. No date is booked until we contact you and confirm one. We schedule work according to crew availability, location, weather, access, equipment and current demand, and we will always try to work within the timeframe you have asked for.
Confirmed dates may still change. Weather, unsafe conditions, emergency call-outs, equipment failure and other operational requirements can all move a job, including at short notice. Where that happens we will contact you as soon as we reasonably can and agree a new date. We are not liable for loss arising from a change of date where the change is outside our reasonable control.
Accepting a quotation does not change the scope of work. If you want work done that is not in the quotation, tell us — we will quote it separately, and we will not carry it out or charge for it without your approval. If site conditions turn out to differ from those observed at inspection, the position set out under Quotes, prices and availability above applies.
The information you give us when accepting — about underground services, irrigation, septic systems, access restrictions, pets and anything else affecting the site — is relied on by our crew when planning and carrying out the work. Please make sure it is accurate and let us know if anything changes before we arrive.
Nothing in this section affects your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, including your rights where services are not supplied with due care and skill or within a reasonable time.
Licences, insurance and standards
Where this website refers to our qualifications, licences, insurances or accreditations, those statements are accurate as at the date shown at the top of these terms. Currency of insurance and licences can change. If a current certificate of currency or licence details matter to your decision, ask us and we will provide them.
Content and intellectual property
We own or are licensed to use all content on this website, including text, photographs, logos, graphics and layout. You may view, download and print content from this site for your own personal, non-commercial use in connection with considering or engaging our services.
You must not otherwise reproduce, adapt, republish, distribute or commercially exploit content from this site without our written permission. Our business name, logo and branding must not be used without our written permission.
Photographs and case studies
Photographs on this website may show completed work, equipment and sites. Some photographs are illustrative and may not depict work carried out by us at a specific property. Results shown are specific to the site and circumstances of that job and are not a representation that any other job will produce the same outcome.
Third party links
This website may contain links to third party websites, including councils, standards bodies, industry associations, suppliers and social media. We provide those links for convenience only. We do not control, endorse or accept responsibility for the content, accuracy or practices of any third party site.
Website availability and security
We aim to keep this website available and accurate, but we do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful code. We may change, suspend or withdraw the website or any part of it at any time without notice.
You are responsible for your own device and internet security. Do not send us sensitive personal information, payment card details or passwords through website forms or chat.

- to attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the site or any system connected to it
- to harvest or scrape data from the site, including by automated means, without our written permission
- to submit false, misleading or abusive content, or another person’s details without their authority
Limits on our liability
Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law are not affected. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any guarantee, right or remedy you have under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth), including the consumer guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law, or any other law that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
Subject to that paragraph:
- we provide this website and its content on an “as is” basis, and to the extent permitted by law we exclude all warranties, representations and conditions that are not expressly set out in these terms
- to the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss, damage, cost or expense — including indirect or consequential loss, loss of profits, loss of opportunity, or loss arising from reliance on information on this website — arising out of or in connection with your use of, or inability to use, this website
- where our liability cannot be excluded but can be limited, our liability is limited, at our option, to supplying the relevant services again or paying the cost of having them supplied again
Privacy
Our handling of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. You submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales and any courts that may hear appeals from them.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms at any time by publishing a revised version on this website. The version in force is the one published at the time you use the site.
